I'm shy to smile because my teeth are yellowish :(?

The thing is I talked to the dentist and she said my teeth cannot be whitened, plus it’s my natural color of teeth – yellowish. I’m trying to smile less as I’m getting older, plus I’m ashamed of my teeth – everyone around has white ones and I’m different. Any advices?

Don’t worry, hon, everyone seems to have insecurities. If it makes you feel better, my teeth are so crooked dentists are still making molds because my teeth are moving around so much. I mean, there’s gaps, they’re squished, some are above others, some are behind others. It’s awful! Just don’t be afraid to smile. Maybe people won’t notice! Just give your best, sparkly, clean, smile. Your confidence will show others that they’re YOUR teeth and you don’t mind them!

brush your teeth
brish teeth tell people its a disease
Dont smile
Don’t care. Just smile. It makes everyone feel better when someone’s happy, don’t be ashamed.
Why can’t your teeth be whitened? I don’t see why not.
Do you smoke or drink a lot of tea/coffee or carbonated drinks? If so, stop, they stain your teeth. Brush twice daily, use a whitening toothpaste if possible.
brush your teeth a lot and if your teeth are naturally yellow then it probably looks natural not like some celeb’ with incredibly white teeth that look fake.
Brush your teeth with baking soda
Why can’t they be whitened? Do you have bonded teeth or something? I like Listerine Whitening mouthwash, personally. And brush your teeth.
Ask your dentist about Umbrian Clay toothpaste.
I did the same thing with my braces. I got over the fear and anyone that said anything to me I either punched them or just laughed like it was funny. Its not that big of deal. Hope I helped =)
dont be ashamed embrace them!
brush your teeth
Well, if you have tons of money, veneers might be an option. other than that, you’re just going to have to work on your self esteem and try not to worry about it. I’m sure it’s a huge things to you, but I bet no one else even notices it.
you shouldn’t worry about it much…i have yellow teeth too.. and people tend not to mind…and there is a way to whiten your teeth…you just need to ask around about it if you really want it…but you shouldnt be ashamed of it…its who you are
i’m sure nobody notices unless you say something.
Whitening strips really do work. Try em. and start using whitening toothpaste and mouth wash.
veneers are your solution in this situation.
i wish you all the best.
What kind of dentist are you going to?!… Do they not have the technology or chemicals to do it?
I am in the same boat as you, but they gave me/I purchased a product called Opalesence (sp?), and that is helping me.
Do -not- use any kind of toothpaste that has or says "whitening" as that is extremely hard on your enamel. Says my friend who works in a dental office as a dental assistant.
even though she said that they cannot be whitened, would it be okay to use a whitening toothpaste? i use crest pro health and it whitens my teeth, along with doing a bunch of other things. it’s great. if you can use it, then i suggest it.
ewwww, how about brushing your teeth 3 times a day with toothpaste that has baking soda in it and watch it go white in 2 weeks or less. P.S. bullcrap, no one has natural yellow teeth, they’re all white. Stop making excuses and brush well, or get a new dentist. He probably doesn’t like your health insurance cuz it doesn’t pay much. get a second opinion. Try Scope whitening as well.
mine were yellow, i could’nt get them white. I brushed, flossed, mouthwash everything. Mine were natural too. Try the white sptripes anyway, screw what your denist says. im 13, i grew out of them(SLOWLY) about a couple months ago.
brush your teeth with creset prohealth. Use the oralb Vitality electric brush because it works better and rinse your mouth with crest mouthwash after
My teeth are yellowish too. So you’ve been to the dentist and you can’t whiten? Try another dentist & get a second opinion. I will say DO NOT try and get strips on your own. They could really mess your teeth up. Maybe talk about getting lumineers (sp) or veners (sp) They are fake teeth that cover on top of your own teeth. A bit expensive but worth it.
use a tooth whitening tooth paste. and aslo creast white strips work good.
EVERYBODY has like yellowish teeth. me, the next person answering, everybody. trust me, its not as noticeable as you think.
also, wearing red lipstick makes your teeth look whiter. don’t use things like whitening gels because the gel doesn’t reach in between your teeth so there will be darkish gaps inbetween your teeth.
That’s weird that your dentist said that they couldn’t do anything. You should be able to get your teeth bleached.. or there is something called Zoom.. that also whitens your teeth. Good luck!
well even though the dentist said they can’t be whitened u can still try with the crap u can buy…. it’s like Colgate…. and just brush a lot that’s all i can think of!!!!

go to a different dentist….b/c all teeth can be whitenened!
You could get veneers put on your teeth. That is what I would do.
There’s no reason to put up with gaps in your teeth or with teeth that are stained, badly shaped or crooked. Today a veneer placed on top of your teeth can correct nature’s mistake or the results of an injury and help you have a beautiful smile.
Veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front side of teeth. They’re made by a dental technician, usually in a dental lab, working from a model provided by your dentist.
You should know that this is usually an irreversible process, because it’s necessary to remove a small amount of enamel from your teeth to accommodate the shell.
Your dentist may recommend that you avoid some foods and beverages that may stain or discolor your veneers such as coffee, tea or red wine. Sometimes a veneer might chip or fracture. But for many people the results are more than worth it.
You should be ashamed.. that’s disgusting… luckily I have the solution… put whiteout on your teeth.. some people say its "toxic", but I just think that’s another word for "sexified"…
Insted of thinking of the bad things about you think of the good.
you have to smile. its great! it makes you feel good and others
you could try maybe putting on different make up and make your eyes stand out more ! that way you can still smile but people will be more wanting to look at your gorgeous eyes!
who cares of the other people just smile all day because people should look at what is in you not at the outside
Remember that no ones teeth are perfect, most pictures of teeth on models are edited. If you have a serious issue try at home whiteners or talk to your dentist.
theres a toothpaste you can buy that you use once a week to whiting your teeth. try it, it might help
whiten them
they have stuff you can paint over your teeth that helps make them whiter and well in the prosses makes with look white.
brush your teeth 22 times a day:)
its okay.
try other dentists, like specialists.
they might recommend bleaching them.
bleaching them helps.
um well my teeth are very yellowish too and i had the same problem i probably tried every single kind of whitener you could every imagine best thing to do is if you cannot find a solution accept yourself for who u are, everyone has a flaw no one is the same that’s what makes life so beautiful be grateful not ashamed.
love, viviane
b proud of those yellow teeth
if its a natural color, it probably doesnt look that bad, just smile and have fun, it not a big deal, everyone has flaws
Hey do what i do. just smile with your mouth closed. Im sure it will look very pretty and no one will see your yellowish teeth. The most important thing is to have confidence in yourself. Good luck♥
try to find a kind of toothpaste that whitens teeth, mouthwash that whitens teeth, or some whitening strips. i used the Listerine whitening mouthwash and it makes teeth pretty white. brush your teeth like 2 or 3 times a day with whitening toothpaste.
good luck.
my teeth have the same color… i dont care i smile like i always have… but my dad has yellowish teeth also… so i guess i got that lucky gene… but i smile in pics and everything, and if ppl ask i just tell em i was not meant to have perfect teeth…. and then i usually point out somethin about them thats not perfect… but mostly only to my friends…
just try to get the Aquafresh white trays
i used them and my teeth are reallyyyyyy white
hey, don’t be ashamed of who you are. God made you special and your own person, be proud of that person! you can become whoever you want. idk how yellow your teeth are, but if you try to hide it people might notice you’re hiding something more. just be yourself and create who you want to be. i’m not to proud of my teeth either but i don’t care, i try to keep them clean, but my teeth are just wierd. just try to be happy with who you are.
Yes, advice, brush and floss your teeth and take good care of them. Most teeth are not pure white, they are using teeth whiteners, which are available OTC. Most of the whiteners will make the teeth sensetive, and so it is with some of the products Dentist use as well. Be happy that you have them, and smile.
I heard somewhere that it’s actually natural to have slightly yellowish teeth. Everyone likes to see a smile, be it with white, crooked, braced or no teeth at all. so..
just smile, I’m sure no one would mock you for it!
so many products out that will whiten teeth and keep them clean. You really should look into it!
Hey, I think I have the same problem as you. My teeth grew in without enamel so they are naturally yellow and there is nothing I can do about except get $50,000 veneers when I turn 18. My dentist said it was caused by fluoride in the drinking water when I was younger. It pretty much sucks, doesn’t it?
